The XXXX Ale House and Brewery Tours provide an unbeatable way to experience an Australian icon up close and discover its proud legend. The Castlemaine Perkins Brewery was established at Milton, just west of Brisbane city, way back in 1878. Flash forward 130 years or so, and a visit to the brewery is your ticket to a rich taste of the science, art and heritage behind these truly great beers. The tour takes about an hour and a quarter. And you’ll cover millennia of history in that time – from the beginnings of beer, through 130 years of XXXX heritage, to the cold fresh glass of XXXX in front of you. After the tour, enjoy a relaxed BBQ in friendly Queensland style. The BBQ includes an assortment of expertly grilled meats, salads and a bread roll with your tour mates. (Vegetarian option available by prior arrangement.)

What better way to discover Brisbane than tour the city…via the bustling Brisbane River. Take in all the charm and dazzling colors of Brisbane by night, to the rhythm of the river! Absorb the lilting strains of international music as you dine on memorable dishes reflecting a tasteful blend of tradition and creativity. Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch including fresh Queensland seafood, fresh roasted carvery, hot and cold buffet dishes, salads, antipasti, cheese selections, tantalising desserts, tea and coffee - while cruising the Brisbane River and enjoying a historical commentary and entertainment by our very own 'Captain' Col Loise.The cruise will depart at 19:00 for a duration of approximately 3:30 hours.
